I’m Kyra, a Portland, OR based painter, illustrator, and printmaker. In my work, I examine the natural versus artificial by combining scenes from nature with symbols of technology and fantasy. With an interest in science fiction, things found in a junk drawer, and my home in the Pacific Northwest, I seek to make colorful and eye-catching artworks that immerse the viewer in a new world.
